Colin thinks Elden Ring is inaccessible? It's probably the easiest Souls game to play, especially with the amount of "easy mode" mode builds you can make that trivialise bosses + coop + spirit summons. Also, not sure why he feels so strongly about the DLC having no trophies, why does it matter that much? It's probably from his perspective of being a trophy hunter but it felt like he played it off as something that everyone cares about.

Not to rain on your parade but we’ve seen great showcases of games from Microsoft before then we get that disappointment when we play them. I just wouldn’t get too excited yet, plus I’m not sure we will see all these games this year.

I agree with Rise of the Ronin strong sales being hard to believe. I bought and played it at launch and platinumed it, but I really didn't hear anyone talk about this game. Tbh I didn't really like it that much, it's one of Team Ninja's weaker games in recent years.

Demon's Souls, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Astro's Playroom, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, The Nioh Collection, Returnal, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, The Last of Us Part 1, Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Horizon call of the Mountain, Helldivers 2, Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade, and that's not including a long list of third party timed exclusives or games like Astro Bot that are coming this year. Yes, you can say some of those are remasters but a lot of new people are buying PS5s and remastering a game is going to get it more sales and attention over making it backwards compatible etc.

??? Dragon age origins could be played as a ARPG… it was barely a tactics game as there was no grid. The only tactics was the choice of controlling the player character and companions and positioning them and was completely optional. but the combat was in real time… is this a case of rose tinted nostalgia? Because I played both kotor and dragon age as ARPGs and I’d be absolutely pissed if they changed the game to a tactical turn based rpg like bg3 because that gameplay is an absolute snooze fest for me.

Dustin is spot on with the Halo Infinite prediction. MCC likely won't happen with the rumored remake (and the fact that the game still has some issues that are often overlooked), but Infinite fits perfectly as the type of game they would maybe want to port over. As a fan of the series, I hope it happens.
